What's New for this Release
Force Set-Side Redirect Option
A new configuration option, Force Set-Side Redirect, has been introduced under System > Settings. This option supports scenarios where devices connect over a private interface but require call redirects to occur on the public side. When enabled, all redirects are forced to the public side on the device (set) side.
Support for Using the Third Network Interface on the SMBC
MiVoice Border Gateway (MBG) 12.3 now supports using the Third Network Interface (3rd NIC) on the Small and Medium Business Controller (SMBC). This enhancement allows improved network separation and flexibility for deployment and management.
Install MBG on Proxmox Using OVA file
MiVoice Border Gateway (MBG) 12.3 can be deployed on Proxmox using an OVA file. This update also includes the steps to install and configure Proxmox, enabling deployment of MBG in Proxmox Virtualization environments.
Wait for RTP before sending Option
A new field, Wait for RTP before Sending, has been introduced under SIP Trunking > Edit Trunk. This field allows MBG to wait for incoming RTP from the provider before sending outbound RTP. It is disabled by default and should only be enabled when required by certain providers to establish the media path.
Granularity IP Blocking
The IP Blocking feature under Security now supports applying rules by Interface, Port, and Protocol. This enhancement enables administrators to define rules for specific traffic flows instead of applying them globally.
